Towards Growth and development of the Seafarers

Team BNSU visits Shipping Companies based in Dubai!

With the aim to achieve successful coexistence, Team BNSU visits Shipping Companies based in Dubai with the motto of creating sustainable growth and development among the Shipping community, driving to foster an international culture of trade exchange, and discussing and appreciating the dedication and professionalism of the Indian seafarers towards the work at sea.
On their visit, the Union also discussed the various avenues available in India for the Shipping Industry under the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, also encouraging the Dubai-based shipping companies to have their establishment in India.
It is the seafarers that are constantly engaged in humanitarian relief, taking forward the ‘spirit of cooperation’ that marked the shipping industry’s joint efforts throughout the pandemic.
Regulations are getting more and more stringent with ever-increasing paperwork and therefore, in a way creating Mental pressure on the seafarers. No one has stopped to think and thank the seafarers who are giving all their time and efforts to all this work! With this goal, Team BNSU on their visit expressed their appreciation towards the Companies and their Seafarers who are the unsung heroes without a doubt!
The Companies shared concerns regarding the upcoming rules and regulations by the governments, pushing for better recognition of seafarers, and securing support for the proposals put out. The team along with the Companies jointly discussed and shared Insights on the action plan in a collaborative manner. Team BNSU approached to provide assistance to the companies as and when needed and assured to be involved in particular – engaging with governments, providing much of the world’s seafarer training, and to help regulate important qualification standards towards crew management.
Through this visit, Team BNSU aims to work towards an immense contribution and create a space to start appreciating the unknown seafarers a little more. Team BNSU with the support from the companies, revisited the already set structures and systems, with a vision to better the growth and development of the industry. It is high time that the world realized that Seafarers Matter, was the moral of all that was discussed.
The companies also discussed their needs and concerns regarding crew management and the union has assured that they will work to streamline and create the system.
Dockendale Ship Management, Central Ship Management, Tristar Maritime, Mubarak Marine LLC, Nautic Fleet Management, Tomini Shipping, TW Group, Emarat Maritime LLC, Jawar Al Khaleej Shipping L.L.C., OBE SHIPS DMCC, Nan Lian Ship Management LLC, MAG Container Lines are the noted esteemed companies visited by BNSU on their visit.
