The Shipping Premier League 2023 hosted by the Bhartiya Navik Sena Union was a thrilling and exciting event that took place on the 11th of February 2023 at the Oval Ground in Churchgate, Mumbai. 13 of the top shipping companies in the industry participated, including Anglo Eastern, Suntech, Energios, V. Group, Executive Ship, Eastern Pacific Shipping, MTM Ship Management, Torm, Vr Marine, D’Amico Synergy Group, Elegant Marine & Fleet Management. The tournament was a full-day event, starting at 8:30 am and ending at 7:00 pm, with a break for breakfast, lunch, and high tea. The final match was played between Synergy Group and V. Group, and it was a nail-biting finish as both teams put up a strong performance. In the end, it was V. Group that emerged victorious, taking home the grand prize of Rs. 25,000. Synergy Group was the runner- up, receiving a cash prize of Rs. 20,000. The tournament also recognized the best batsman and best bowler, with Mr. Nasir from V. Group being awarded the best batsman prize of Rs. 3,000 and Mr. Ajinkya from Synergy Group being awarded the best bowler prize of Rs. 3,000. The event was graced by several prominent guests of honor, including Capt Vijay Rangroo – Managing Director of Energios Maritime Pvt Ltd, Capt Jaideep Dhamankar – Director of Energios Maritime Pvt Ltd, Capt Deepak Correa – COO of Fleet Management, and Capt Gurdeep Johal – Director of Eastern Pacific Shipping.
