The Bhartiya Navik Sena Union organized a Freedom March on 12th August, with the Seafarers to commemorate India’s 75th Independence Day. The celebration under the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi and Hon’ble Cabinet Minister (MSME), Shri Narayan Rane is to support the Indian Government’s initiative of ‘Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’. Shri Mr. Prasad Lad-MLA of Bhartiya Janta Party, Shri Rajesh Hatle, Vice-President, Bhartiya Janta Party Mumbai, B.E.S.T. Samiti Member, and Capt. Aditya Rajes Nika, the The Director of G.K. Marine was invited to be the Guest of Honour at the event. Also, presents were Mr. Ravindra Baing, the President, Mr. Suresh Salaskar-General Secretary, Mr. Nandkumar Baing, the Secretary and the entire Team of Bhartiya Navik Sena Union. The occasion commenced with a warm welcome by the BNSU office bearers followed by the “Satyanarayan Maha Pooja”, at the Union’s Office in Horniman Circle Chambers. The guests were served light refreshments with impeccable arrangements. Post the “Satyanarayan MahaPooja”, the Seafarers took out an enthusiastic Freedom March from Horniman Circle to Asiatic Society Library at Fort with slogans citing “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram”.
